Tapioca does not lock your funds. You can withdraw any amount at any time, and your accrued yield up to that moment is included in what you receive back. Withdrawals are processed as gasless on-chain transactions, so you will not be charged any ETH for fees. Once a withdrawal is complete, the funds return to your Tapioca smart account, where you can leave them, transfer them to an exchange, or send them to another wallet.
Yield accrues up to the exact moment you withdraw. Once a withdrawal is confirmed, yield stops accruing on the withdrawn portion of your position.

Withdraw your assets

1

Navigate to Withdraw

From the Tapioca dashboard, click Withdraw in the main navigation.
2

Select an asset

Choose the asset you want to withdraw from the list of your active positions.
3

Enter the amount

Type the amount you want to withdraw, or choose one of the quick-select options:
  • Partial withdrawal — enter any amount up to your total deposited balance to withdraw only a portion of your position. The remainder continues earning yield.
  • Full withdrawal — click Max to withdraw your entire balance, including all accrued yield.
4

Review and confirm

Review the withdrawal amount and the destination (your Tapioca smart account), then click Confirm Withdrawal. No gas fee is charged.
5

Wait for on-chain confirmation

The withdrawal is submitted to the Base network. It typically confirms within a few seconds. Your updated balance appears on the dashboard once the transaction is finalized.
Withdrawals are processed on-chain and may take a few seconds to confirm, depending on Base network conditions. The dashboard reflects your updated balance automatically once the transaction is confirmed.

Move funds after withdrawal

After withdrawing, your assets land in your Tapioca smart account on Base. From there you have several options.
1

Transfer to a Coinbase exchange account

In the Tapioca app, select Send and enter your Coinbase deposit address. Make sure to select the Base network when generating your deposit address on Coinbase to avoid losing funds.
2

Send to an external wallet

Use Send to transfer funds directly to any Base-compatible wallet address, such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.
3

Bridge to another network (optional)

If you need funds on Ethereum mainnet or another chain, use bridge.base.org or Stargate to bridge out of Base after withdrawing.
If you only need to move funds to Coinbase, withdrawing directly to your Coinbase Base deposit address is the simplest path — no bridging required.
